Network Engineer forAFSN Ground Based Infrastructure, Engineering branch. During my time atAFSN I completed engineering and testing the first Air Force Gateway forCommunity of Interest VPN access and became a team member of the specialproject to develop components for airborne communications testing. · Designed, tested, andintegrated next generational networks providing capability for airborne networkreach-back using technologies such as embedded control systems, TCPmanipulation, packet compression, packet payload replacement, multi-channelISDN, bulk IP encryption, and unique combinations of routing protocols and IPtunneling. · Provided engineeringsupport and configuration management for AMC sponsored Executive AirborneCommunications Network (EACN) Ground Entry Points (GEP) which extend the reachof the SIPRNet and NIPRNet into aircraft of the Air Force and US Governmentsenior leadership. The EACN network was designed, tested, and integrated byAFSN. · Handled 1.5 milliondollar AFVPN Gateway project and brought the system from its testing phase tofull operation.
