Daedalus Technology Systems was formed in April 2005 to fill the specialized networking design and engineering needs of today’s most dynamic industries.  Daedalus provides cutting-edge network engineering and integration in environments which have not benefitted from access to data networks.  Daedalus’ customers have benefitted from the nearly half-century of combined experience held by Daedalus staff and consultants.

Derick’s experiences range from technology help-desk support to systems design engineering for highly visible data networking projects.   His expertise is in designing solutions which incorporate current and emerging technologies into successful data networks.  Throughout the years his designs and recommendations have been successfully deployed into the active US Air Force network systems and other private enterprise systems.
Throughout the years Derick has proven himself time and time again as a dynamic and forward looking leader.  His vision is evident in the numerous successful projects he has spearheaded.  He has been instrumental in starting multiple businesses and continues today as he conducts business as President of Daedalus.

Derick earned his Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from American Sentinel University of Englewood, CO.

Derick is married to the former Laurie Culpepper of Montgomery Alabama.  They have two daughters, Rachel and Lena.
